For its first convention, SMICES has chosen the FRENCH ASSOCIATION OF SURGERY congress that will take place from 19 to 21 September at the convention centre in PARIS.

What is the AFC?

The 120th Congress of Surgery will take place from 19 to 21 September 2018 under the chairmanship of Professor Christian Letoublon.​

This unmissable event is one of the highlights in the discipline, which brings together over 1800 surgeons from France and abroad.

The congress has been completely revised, in order to adjust more closely to the reality of today’s visceral and digestive surgery, and to facilitate participants’ access to the main themes while avoiding redundancies.

​​As in previous years, the innovation village within the exhibition hall will house some 30 start-ups, including SMICES, who will present their latest innovations. A jury of experts from the world of innovation will present the AFC Innovation Award 2018 and all delegates will have the opportunity to participate in the vote for the AFC 2018 Public Innovation Award.
